The Gold Coast Golf Club is a championship parkland course overlooking the dramatic seascape of the fantastic West Waterford coastline. With unrivaled views of Dungarvan Bay, the Irish Sea, Helvick Head and the stunning Comeragh Mountain this mature tree-lined par 72 course stretches over 6,171 metres [6,788 yards] and is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean for 1.5 miles. The first visit to the water's edge at holes 6 to 8 is the most thrilling sequence on the front 9 with the 175 meter 8 hole often compaired to the famous 16th hole at Cypress Point. After the turn the course returns again to the coast line at the 15th where a demanding tee shot over the bay is often the deciding factor in a good score. This course has something for everyone from the low to high handicappers and is part of the Dungarvan Golf Triangle where golfers can avail of 3 green fees for the price of 2.
