Opening TimesCome to Walsh Whiskey Distillery at Royal Oak (the home of The Irishman and Writers Tears) in Ireland’s Ancient East where centuries of history rhyme with the hope of a new era. Our doors are open to visitors for personal tours of the distillery, one of the largest in Ireland, where our team of local distillers will demonstrate how we are unique in producing all types of Irish whiskey (pot still, malt and grain) in the one still house and using mainly manual controls.
The tour takes approximately 1 hour and costs start from €15 per person (including a tastings of our premium whiskeys)
Tours taking place in May through to September will be available Monday-Saturday at 10am; 12noon; 2pm & 4pm each day! Walk-ins are very welcome although booking in advance will avoid any disappointment.
